FIELD: heat-power engineering; thermal power stations and boiler plants. SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in bringing water to be treated in contact with atmospheric air fed to decarbonizer. Flow rate of air fed to decarbonizer is regulated in direct proportion to initial content of carbon dioxide in water being treated. EFFECT: enhanced economical efficiency due to reduced power requirements for delivery of air; improved quality of decarbonization at increased initial content of carbon dioxide. 1 dwg
