FIELD: manufacture of aircraft engines; couplings for transmission of power from engine shaft to consumer shafts in case of angular and parallel misalignment of these shafts. SUBSTANCE: flexible coupling has two flanges interconnected by means of clamping pins and flexible rim consisting of set disks with cylindrical holes for pins. Made at maximum distance from axis of coupling on outer side of pins are sickle-shaped flats at extension over pin circumference in sector 60 or sickle-shaped recesses are made at maximum distance from axis of coupling in walls of cylindrical holes for pins of flexible rim disks at extension over pin circumference in sector 60. Maximum depth of flats or recesses is within , where δmax is maximum axial tension of coupling flexible rim during operation of units at misalignment; z is number of pins on flange of coupling; Д is diameter of pin position on flange. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of disks due to avoidance of rigid contact of pins with disks of flexible rim and reduced variable stresses in disks. 12 dwg
