FIELD: ammunition, moulding of plastic driving bands of small-caliber shell bodies by injection moulding. SUBSTANCE: plastic leading bands of polyarylated composition containing 1-2 percent by mass of fluoroplastic are attached in shaped annular grooves on the bourrelet of bodies of small-caliber shells by injection moulding in a heated mould. The time of injection of measuring mass of polyarylated composition at a temperature of 3500-5 C in a casting mould heated to a temperature of 120-5 C is maintained within 4 to 5 s. EFFECT: reduced labour content and endurance of plastic driving bands of polyarylated composition, enhanced crack resistance and chemical endurance of moulded article obtained without finishing operations by turning (processing in outside diameter); enhanced adaptability to manufacture and improved basic characteristics of the manufactured article. 6 tbl
