FIELD: miscellaneous drives including servo drives. SUBSTANCE: motor has semiconductor switch, electrical machine, rotor position detector, delay unit current sensor, comparison device, output-pulse-acceleration-to-electric-current-signal converter, and output-shaft acceleration setting device. Current sensor is set to definite current-limiting value whose minimum corresponds to maximal efficiency of motor. Modulus of output-shaft acceleration is converted into current-limiting setting value. Preset limiting current is applied to input of current-limiting device built in motor. Any decrease in anti-torque moment on drive shaft raises output-shaft acceleration and adjustable current-limiting setting proportionally decreases but not below minimal value specified by preset optimal current at which motor efficiency rises to its maximum. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities and service life of motor at desired transient characteristics and efficiency of drive. 3 dwg
