FIELD: all-purpose drives including servodrives. SUBSTANCE: valve-type motor has semiconductor switch, electrical machine, rotor position detector, and delay unit current sensor. Built in valve-type motor are comparison device, output shaft acceleration to current pulse converter, and desired output shaft acceleration setting unit. Modulus of output shaft acceleration is converted into current limiting setting value. Current limiting setting is applied to input of current- limiting device built in valve-type motor. Any increase in anti-torque moment on drive shaft reduces modulus of acceleration of output shaft with the result that adjustable current-limiting setting proportionally increases up to its maximum, and vice versa. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities and service life of motor with desired transient characteristics of drive being maintained. 2 dwg
