FIELD: metallurgy, particularly, production of multiphase castings by method facilitating refining of primary phase formed from melt in two-phase region of eutectic system. SUBSTANCE: method includes casting of molten metal alloy at temperature equalling or exceeding liquidus temperature in flow into mold for forming casting; introduction of solid particles of material in amount of 0.1 to 5.0 wt.% of casting weight into flow of molten metal for heat abstraction from molten metal alloy, for its cooling from pouring temperature to crystallization temperature of primary phase between liquidus temperature and alloy solidus temperature to initiate in this way of nucleation of primary phase and to limit growth of primary phase. The first function of solid particles in form of powdery material is heat abstraction, however, powdery material may, at least, partially dissolve in melt and act as primary phase inoculation.
