FIELD: radio detection and range finding, applicable in radars for signal processing. SUBSTANCE: the invention is based on creation of a device providing for prevention of false detection of an object due to the action of side lobes of a compressed signal, with the parameters of coordinated processing remaining uncharged, as well as on creation of a weight filter with a controlled weight function. This task is solved due to introduction of additional channels of weight processing and a signal identification unit and a side lobe interacting on the basis of the processing method based on the use of various dependence of the level of the signal and its side lobes on the change of the weight function. EFFECT: prevented false detection due to the action of side lobes of compressed signal. 6 cl, 8 dwg
