FIELD: high energy protection. SUBSTANCE: mixture of, wt parts: siloxane rubber with molecular weight 15•103-70•103 and empirical formula C2H6SiO, 100; tin(IV) diethylcaprylate (catalyst), 3-4; filler, 350-450, including mixture rare-earth metal, antimony(III), and yttrium(III) oxides at weight ratio of rare-earth metal oxides to sum of antimony and yttrium oxides 1: (1.15-1.59) and weight ratio of antimony oxide to yttrium oxide 1: (0.016-0.088) is agitated for 10 to 30 min at room temperature, applied on layers of a woven material preliminarily impregnated with tin(IV) diethylcaprylate at ratio of polymer basis to impregnation substance 100 : (0.6-0.8), and polymerized in cold hardening mode. Rare-earth metal oxides are, in particular, composed of light element oxides (9.0-16.0% based on total metal oxide mixture), middle element oxides 7.0-20.0%), and heavy element oxides (7.0-23.0%). Material thus obtained is used for manufacturing protective clothing for staff of x-ray interactions and is distinguished by physico- mechanical strength increased to 4.5-9.5 MPa. EFFECT: increased strength, reduced toxicity and weight. 5 cl, 1 tbl
