FIELD: polymeric materials for science and technology where roentgen-ray shielding is needed. SUBSTANCE: composite used for manufacturing safety clothing for personnel dealing with X-ray apparatuses has silicon-containing polymeric binder, organometallic compound of tin salt group IV, catalyst in the form of shielding filler which is mixture of oxides of rare-earth elements, yttrium oxide, antimony oxide III, and also modifying agent. The latter has compound mixture of group of epoxy-containing hydrocarbons, compounds of polyamine group, compounds of o-phthalic acid ester group and single-atom alcohols of homologous series C1-C9. Proportion of ingredients in parts by weight per every 100 mas.weight of silicon-containing binder is as follows: epoxy-containing hydrocarbon, 5.0-15,0; polyamine, 0.6-3.0; o-phthalic acid ester and single-atom alcohols, 0.5-3.0; mixture of oxides of rare-earth elements, 160.0-180.0; antimony oxide III, 200.0-210.0; catalyst, 6.0-8.0. EFFECT: facilitated inclusion of composite in multilayer part structure; improved adhesion to fabric base; enlarged living time of uncured composite while retaining shielding properties. 5 cl, 1 tbl
