FIELD: radio engineering; planar-array microwave antennas. SUBSTANCE: antenna array polarization is adapted to radiated or received signals and may be found useful for polarity metering radars to measure parameters of Muller matrix, for radiointroscopes, electromagnetic microwave medical applicators, communication systems, polarization-modulated signal data transmission and reception systems. Antenna array can handle any linearly polarized signals within sector angles of 0 and 180 deg., circularly or elliptically polarized signals, polarization-modulated signals, ensure decomposition of wave received into two orthogonally polarized components in receive mode and complete adaptation of any type of polarization and its parameters in radiation and/or reception modes. Antenna array has even number of radiators in the form of rectangle located in assemblies of rectangular coordinate grid and spaced apart by gaps. Central radiators of four beams of rectangular coordinate grid are shaped as rectangle one of whose sides is equal to wavelength and its adjacent side is as long as half-wavelength. Central radiators are connected over central line through contact members to ground surface; remaining radiators are square in shape with square side as long as wavelength. Connected to each central radiator is one lead of antenna feed; other feed leads are connected to power distribution wiring. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities. 4 cl, 4 dwg
