FIELD: volume fire suppression combining the phlegmatizing and inhibiting effects. SUBSTANCE: saturated fluorohydrocarbons with the number of atoms of carbon within 1 to 3 are used as phlegmatizing (diluting) components. Ozone safety monoiodohydrocarbons with the number of atoms of carbon within 1 to 6 are used as inhibiting components. The relation of the components providing for good fire-suppressing properties, as well as for ecological and toxic safety makes up (percent by mass): fluorohydrocarbons - 70 to 95, iodohydrocarbons - 5 to 30. Fire-suppressing concentration of compounds is about 0.2 kg/cu. m, they are highly effective fire-suppressing compounds, alternative to ecologically harmful bromchladons, do not disintegrate the ozone layer. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and safety. 5 dwg, 4 tbl
