FIELD: fire extinguishing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to combined gas fire-extinguishing compositions and can be applied in volume extinguishing of fires using stationary installation or when extinguishing inflammation by means of fire-extinguishers. Composition contains ethyl bromide (30-70%) and a supplement (70-30%) preventing inflammation of ethyl bromide with air, in particular iodine-containing fluorohydrocarbon C1-C3 with 1-2 iodine atoms. Composition does not destroy ozone layer of the Earth atmosphere.
EFFECT: increased fire-extinguishing capability and improved performance characteristics.
