FIELD: metallurgy, namely processes for heat treatment of blanks. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of heat treatment of blanks by quenching in vacuum furnace at 800 C-850 C, then cooling them at first together with furnace until 580 C-600 C and then in water; aging blanks at 300 C- 400 C for 6-8 hours, working them by plastic deformation of parts, rolling out their outer surface and knurling thread. Aging is realized in vacuum furnace with subsequent treatment of parts for several hours in rotary drum by means of mixture of steel balls and wooden cubes; then knurling thread. EFFECT: enhanced endurance of rod type parts with heads made of double phase (alpha+beta) titanium alloys due to increased strength of products and elimination of defects in surface layer of articles at knurling tread. 1 tbl, 1 ex
