FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, namely, to production of fasteners from low-plasticity hardly-deformable alloys. Measured cylindrical billet is cut from bar. Billet part intended for hot upsetting of head is heated to temperature some 50°C to 200°C lower than that of polymorphic conversion in alloy. Head hot upsetting is made to produce fillet between rod cylindrical part and head. Billet is thermally hardened. Rod section to be threaded is tempered to depth making 0.2-1.0 of thread pitch and subjected to cold plastic deformation with 3-15%-reduction. Rod cylindrical section, fillet and head surface are machined. Fillet is rolled. Rod section to be threaded is turned and threaded.
EFFECT: higher hardness and strength, longer life of fasteners.
