SUBSTANCE: proposed distributed automated system controlling electrolysis of aluminum has multiterminal control desk and specialized controllers integrated by local computation network. Multiterminal control desk includes one operator's desk, N desks of product engineers, data base server and low-frequency amplifier. In addition automated system incorporates concentrator of computation system, controllers of group, controllers controlling drive, current conversion controller, voltage conversion controller, display and indication controllers, portable technological controller. EFFECT: widened functional capabilities, improved operational characteristics, reduced number of units and cost of hardware, increased technical-and-economic indices, decreased expenses for installation and mounting, prolonged service life. 8 cl, 8 dwg
