FIELD: wind power engineering. SUBSTANCE: given wind-driven power plant having one wind turbine mounted in tube with contraction across inlet and diffuser across outlet kinematically coupled by rotating shaft to electric generator is in correspondence with invention manufactured in the form of tower with electric generator installed outside of it. Wind from any direction is trapped by means of immobile sections located in upper part of plant over circumference around its vertical axis, each section being equipped with inlet contraction with vertical partition along its axis. Inlet of contraction has rectangular section that smoothly transforms to oval one in point of connection with vertical conduit inside which concave deflector rigidly coupled by its axis to tail group rotating by direction of wind and directing wind stream from inlet contractions into collecting contraction shutting opposite outlet oval holes of working conduit is mounted. Valves for automatic emergency release of superfluous air of gusts of wind are provided on surfaces of inlet contractions. Conical dissector of wind stream is located along axis of collecting contraction, directing plates imparting wind stream with rotation around axis at strictly definite angle being made fast to surface of dissector. Self- adjusting wind turbine automatically stabilizing its rotation speed with change of wind velocity is used in this wind-driven power plant.
