The novelty in the cartridge is the fact that the inside diameter of the case mouth is not less than 0.11 of its length at a charge bulk density not exceeding 0.75 g/cu.cm, and the difference between the bulk density and the powder loading density being equal to or exceeding 0.05 g/cu.cm.
