FIELD: study of geography and natural resources of oceans and seas. SUBSTANCE: method of determination and construction of spatial distribution of oceanographic characteristics consists in carrying out of complex undersatellite ( ship ) and satellite measurement of oceanographic characteristics with the aid of instrument transmitters and complex instrument devices. Results of undersatellite and satellite measurements are stored in storage and satellite data used to determine and construct spatial distribution of oceanographic characteristics are corrected by readings of instrument transmitters and complex instrument devices. Method is supplemented with submersion of first set of instrument transmitters and complex instrument devices into water, installation of second set of instrument transmitters and complex instrument devices on bow of ship above water and arrangement of third set of instrument transmitters and complex instrument devices on board the ship. Readings of instrument transmitters and complex instrument devices incorporated in first, second and third sets of instrument transmitters and complex instrument devices are read and recorded in real time in reader of primary data in which these readings are periodically updated. EFFECT: increased informativity of measurements and precision in determination and construction of spatial distribution of oceanographic characteristics of investigated water areas, decreased cost of method and of system for its realization. 19 cl, 1 dwg
