TECHNIQUE EVALUATING THERMAL OXIDIZING STABILITY OF OILS FOR AIRCRAFT GAS-TURBINE ENGINES Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: study of lubrication oils. SUBSTANCE: values of specific dielectric losses of starting Pи and oxidized P0 oils are used in the capacity of informative indicators in process of evaluation of thermal oxidizing stability of oils for aircraft gas-turbine engines. With this in mind the loss tangent of dielectric of samples of starting tgδи and working tgδ0 oils and value of capacitance of cell with samples of starting Cи and oxidized Co oils are measured. Measurements are taken at temperature of sample not below 80±1,5oC for mineral oils and not below 60±1,5oC for synthetic oils. Thermal oxidizing stability is evaluated by value of relative dissipation power of specific dielectric losses found by dependence obtained experimentally. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity of evaluation of stability of aircraft oils for gas-turbine engines and diminished time for its determination. 3 dwg, 3 tbl
