FIELD: examination or analysis of jet fuels, control of their quality, applicable in examination of fuels by formation of disperse systems, as well as in examination of negative effect of disperse systems on the fuel equipment. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in mixing of fuel with water in relation 4: 1, double pumping of the mixture in a closed circuit during a preset time period, settling and separation of the disperse system on the boundary of separation of the "fuel-water" phases after settling in the second cycle. The novelty in the method is in addition of not more than 0.75 g/l of adsorption resins to the starting fuel up to the mixing with water. Adsorption resin is obtained from the same starting fuel. The amount of the disperse phase obtained from 1l of fuel at an addition of 0.75g of adsorption resins makes up 1.0 to 2.5 ml. EFFECT: reduced cost of examination of the processes of formation of disperse systems in fuel and their influence on the fuel equipment at an increase of the amount of produced disperse phase. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
