FIELD: blasting operations, applicable for destruction of rocks at opencast mining. SUBSTANCE: charge components with axial ducts, mainly slabs of ballistite powders, are assembled on the surface of the block to be blasted running a flexible coupling through the ducts of the charge components; the end of the flexible coupling is connected to the gripper of a movable hoist, for example, to the truck crane hook, the assembled charge is hoisted over the surface and lowered in the borehole. Assemblage of the charge is accomplished in the horizontal and vertical positions. At lowering of the charge in the borehole the blasting cartridge are retained in the vertical position over the charge with the aid of balloons.
