PROCESS OF LOADING OF HOLES WITH AMMUNITION Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: loading of vertical descending holes with ammunition. SUBSTANCE: proposed process includes lowering of ammunition into hole on flexible tape reeled out from main and auxiliary drums arranged above mouth of hole on its diametrically opposite sides. Then granulated explosive is poured into hole to height not less than four hole diameters, intermediate detonators with initiation aids are put into layer of granulated explosive and finally charge is tamped into hole. Ammunition can be lowered to reach face of hole in one or several steps, first to reach face of hole, then reach upper level of first part of ammunition and further on to end of formation of charge from ammunition. Ammunition can first be lowered into hole and then dropped from safe height. EFFECT: proposed process solves problem of safe mechanized loading of holes. 5 cl, 5 dwg
