FIELD: use of ammunition for commercial explosions. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in dipping of artillery ammunition in deep-hole, tamping and blasting. According to the first modification, the seats for ammunition nose fuzes are filled with explosive. A band of strong material is placed on the surface, and ammunitions are butt-jointed in line on it. An intermediate detonator with means for its initiation is placed above the nose of the last ammunition. The band is wrapped around a column of ammunition with formation of a cylindrical housing. The lower and upper ends of the housing are tied in a bundle or tightened by string. The end of the housing with the intermediate detonator is connected to the rope of the travelling hoist. The charge is transferred to the vertical position with the ammunition bottom sides down and dipped in the deep-hole. Then, the rope is disconnected from the charge, and the latter is tamped. According to the second modification, after the seats for fuzes are filled with explosive supports in the form of a ring with truncated cone or truncated cone secured on the ammunition nose section. The ammunition is put against each other with the bottom sides down and dipped in the deep-hole on flexible band paid out from the reels. Detonating caps with detonating cord are inserted in the seats for fuzes. The end of the detonating cord are connected in succession to one another, and the free end is brought out on the surface. After dipping of the charge the band is separated from the reel, and the charge is tamped. According to the third modification, ammunition is dipped in the deep-hole together with the nose fuzes in the same sequence as according to the second modification, but with employment of remote - control mechanisms.
