FIELD: diagnostics of laid oil and gas mains. SUBSTANCE: diagnostic parameters are measured with the aid of transducers and sequences of digital and analog signals corresponding to measured diagnostic parameters are obtained. Analog signals are converted to digital form. Obtained digital data are stored in on-line storage of aboard computer of mass memory or in digital data storage circuit based on elements of buffer storage of direct access. After termination of diagnostic skip measured diagnostic parameters are determined by stored digital data. Specified process is realized with the help of gear incorporating body of transport facility to let pipe-line pass inside it, transducers sensitive to diagnostic parameters of pipe-line mounted on transport facility, power supply source, aboard computer including storage circuit of obtained digital data incorporating buffer storage of direct access and peripheral digital data storage circuit. Storage of direct access has capacity exceeding 6000 Mbytes. Peripheral storage circuit is based on elements of dynamic memory of direct access and has capacity exceeding 6000 Mbytes. EFFECT: reduced time of completion of technical diagnostics of specified section of cross-country pipe-line and decreased consumption of energy by diagnostic equipment over specified section of pipe-line.
