FIELD: power engineering; overhead power transmission lines. SUBSTANCE: brace has tie rod and clamps for its connection to conductors. Brace is provided with two pins carrying loosely mounted set of rings made of vibration-absorbing material each attached in parallel to respective conductor by means of two clamps. Tie rod is, essentially, flexible bistable thin-walled homogeneous plate made in the form of hollow cylinder part. Plate edges correspond to generating lines of hollow cylinder which are flanged out to form cylinder and tightly fitted onto mentioned pins carrying rings for their relative turning. EFFECT: improved reliability and efficiency of damping conductor vibrations. 3 dwg
