FIELD: fine, industrial and metallurgical synthesis. SUBSTANCE: method comprises reacting arylolefins of general formula: wherein Ar is Ph, O-MePh, p-MePh, with triethyl aluminium at molar ratio of 10:(10-14) respectively, in the presence of catalyst Cp2ZrCl2 which is used in amount of 2-6 mole % with respect to arylolefin. Reaction is carried out in argon atmosphere under normal conditions for 10-14 hours. Yield of the desired products is 72-93%. Method makes it possible to prepare mono and dirarylsubstituted alumacyclopentanes having high regioselectivity, and aryl substituted alumacyclopropanes.
