FIELD: thermal methods of pelletizing of iron fine-grain concentrates and wastes of metallurgical production; applicable in production of sinter in ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: mixture of iron-containing components contains concentrate with total content of iron of 63% and above and scale in ratio of 1/(1-3), respectively. Method includes fluxing, mixing, pelletizing and charging of mixture to sintering machine in two layers and its sintering. Fluxes are used in form of lime and dolomitic limestone in amount ensuring sinter basicity (CaO+MgO)/(SiO2+Al2O3) ≤ 0.8 with MgO/CaO ratio of 0.30-0.50. Flux loaded into lower layer amounts to 25-35% of amount of mixture with 2.3-2.5% of fuel in lower layer of mixture, and with total content of fuel in mixture within 3.8-4.7 %.
