FIELD: metallurgy; production of agglomerate for blast furnace process.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes introduction of charge in form of ore part of iron-ore concentrate at content of iron more than 63% and sintered ore, fluxing with dolomitized limestone, limestone and/or lime in the amount sufficient for obtaining ratio MgO/CaO≤0.2 at basicity of CaO/SiO2≤0.7, introduction of fuel into charge, mixing, nodulizing and layer-by-layer loading of charge on sintering trucks of conveyer machine, ignition of fuel and performing sintering process by suction of air through layer of vacuum chamber. Flow rate of fuel Pf, kg/t of ore portion of charge, speed of motion of sintering trucks Vtr, m/min and temperature in last vacuum chamber tv, °C are determined by the following formulae: Pf=3.7FeO; Vtr=1.83-0.02 FeO; tv= 315-5 FeO, where FeO is preset content of iron monooxide in flushing agglomerate.
EFFECT: possibility of obtaining required content of FeO, control of fuel flow rate and speed of sintering trucks and temperature in last vacuum chamber.
