FIELD: pulp-and-paper industry, in particular, production of paper by aerodynamic method. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has bath for impregnating liquid, at least two conveying drums arranged in succession along path of motion of fabric in bath, and two endless belts for conveying of fabric. Endless belts are positioned on belt carrier shafts and are made in the form of grids. Plates are dipped into bath and positioned above and below fabric displacement plane. Plates are oriented at an angle to fabric displacement plane and positioned so as to change angle and dipping depth. Apparatus of such construction allows optimum fabric moistening mode to be selected by regulating wave generation in layers adjoining to belts and in surface layer of water body. Apparatus may be used in other branches of industry for impregnating rolled material. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 cl, 1 dwg
