FIELD: chemical industry; production of roll materials with one-two side coatings.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of chemical industry, in particular, to the method of production of roll materials with one- or two-side coatings and may be used in aircraft, car, ship-building and other branches of mechanical engineering. The method provides, that a melt of a binding agent is fed into the space between an applying-calibrating roll and a spreading knife at the temperature of below its curing temperature by 50°-85°C. The temperature of the applying-calibrating roll surface is kept stable and uniform along the effective length of the roll by 30°-80°C above the temperature of the spreading knife surface, but by 10°-20°C below the temperature of the gel-like binding agent. The roll-free pressing of the linen of the material in the impregnation zone is exercised by the preset tension of the linen of the material by a reeling-out unit with a braking mechanism and by a reeling-up unit with a sliding coupling at adjustment of the thickness of the applying layer of the melt due to keeping of the preset ratios of the temperatures of the melt and the surfaces of the applying-calibrating roll with the spreading knife at the given and stable speed of displacement and a degree of the tautness of the linen of the material and the value of the clearance between the surfaces of the applying-calibrating roll and the spreading knife. The device realizing the method of the production is in addition supplied with units of heating and forced cooling of the spreading knife, with a unit of stabilization of the given temperature interval of the melt of the binding agent and the temperatures of the surfaces of the applying-calibrating roll and the spreading knife. The reeling-out unit has a braking mechanism and the reeling-up unit is supplied with a sliding coupling. The stabilization unit of the given interval of the temperatures has the melt temperature sensing device and is supplied with the sensing units placed in its central part and on the edge sections to measure temperatures of the surfaces of the applying-calibrating roll and the spreading knife and with a switching elements to switch on/off the heating devices in the central part and on the edge sections of the applying-calibrating roll and the spreading knife and the forced cooling unit. The unit of heating of the spreading knife is made in the form of the thermoelectric heaters. At that the unit of the forced cooling of the spreading knife is made in the form of the tight internal cavities connected to the unions for the cooling agent feeding in and removal and with a pressure regulator. The invention ensures expansion of the engineering capabilities at production of the film adhesives and glue prepregs with the thermoreactive polymeric binding agent.
