FIELD: radar equipment. SUBSTANCE: method may be used for detection of vibration parameters of objects which are in close proximity to radar, using harmonic constituents of reflected signal. Method involves emission of modulated sounding signal towards object under investigation, reception of signal reflected from object, detection of this signal, extraction of modulation constituent, which analysis provides data for detection of vibration characteristics of object. Sounding signal is modulated using function of modulation constituent of received reflected signal, until amplitude of extracted modulation constituent exceeds given reference threshold. Then, method involves spectral analysis of modulation constituent in order to detect its characteristics, which help in evaluation of vibration parameters of object. EFFECT: increased precision.
