FIELD: radar equipment, identification of air targets with use of radar employing multifrequency sounding signal. SUBSTANCE: gear identifying air targets by two- frequency method has master generator, first mixer connected with its input to output of generator, pulse modulator connected with its second input to output of modulator, power amplifier, antenna, antenna switch connected with its input/output to antenna input/output, high-frequency amplifier, second mixer, intermediate frequency amplifier, unit of heterodynes, phase inverter, two phase detectors, two analog-to-digital converters, computer and display, power amplifier, antenna switch, high-frequency amplifier, second mixer and intermediate frequency amplifier being connected in series. Output of master generator is connected to second input of first phase detector and to input of phase inverter whose output is linked to second input of second phase detector. Second input of first mixer is connected to output of unit of heterodynes. Output of unit of heterodynes is connected to second input of second mixer. Output of first mixer is linked to first input of power amplifier, output of intermediate frequency amplifier is connected to first input of first phase detector and to first input of second phase detector. Output of first phase detector is connected to input of first analog-to- digital converter, output of second phase detector is linked to input of second analog- to-digital converter. Outputs of analog-to-digital converters are connected to inputs of computer whose output is connected to input of display. EFFECT: possibility of retuning of carrier frequency of sounding signal and of digital processing of quadrature components of reflected signals resulting in improved noise immunity of radar, reduced time and enhanced authenticity of identification of air targets. 3 dwg
