FIELD: spacecraft for radar ice reconnaissance. SUBSTANCE: the space radar has an observation mode control unit, phase-locked aerial system, aerial system directional pattern control unit, ratio-transmitting and radio-receiving devices, digital processor and an intercoupler; the digital processor incorporates a central processor unit, exchange unit, and an input filter, signal compression processor, image synthesis processor and an on-board information ratio line controller connected to the address-data bus, the intercoupler comprises a unit for exchange with the internal storage, mixers, digital-to-analog and analog- to-digital converters, the observation mode control unit is made for exchange with other on-board complexes and incorporates the central processor unit, internal bus controller and the on-board switching device controller, timing frequency controller, orientation and stabilization system controller, navigation system controller, synchronizer, and a two-way code exchange controller. EFFECT: possibility of change of operating program of space radar in the process of processing and service in orbit, possibility of interfacing of radar information with information of other sources. 7 cl, 2 dwg
