FIELD: aircraft collision warning equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to short-range radar systems designed to prevent collision of aircraft moving across airfield with dangerous obstacles. It resides in determination of coordinates of obstacles falling within scanning zone of transmitting and receiving antennas of proposed radar system located on aircraft. Salient feature of invention consists in that frequency control over spatial position of concentration region of electromagnetic field in close zone formed by crossing beams of transmitting and receiving antennas coming in the form of linear slotted-guide arrays spaced apart by certain base distance is carried out in synchronous-coupled manner so that matching region of concentration of electromagnetic fields is formed at certain fixed distance from slotted-guide arrays whose falling on some nonuniformity in the form of obstacle is fixed in indication unit of proposed radar system. EFFECT: enhanced reliability, timeliness and authenticity of detection of obstacles which makes it feasible to ensure maneuver of aircraft to avoid collision with obstacles. 1 cl, 6 dwg
