FIELD: underwater acoustics. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in formation of a parametric receiving antenna in the receiver operating zone by means of emission of an additional signal to this zone. Preferably medium parameters are modulated in time in the receiver nearest zone, to this end, in addition to the elastic wave, a signal of some other physical nature subjected to frequency-time modulation at a frequency exceeding the frequency of the received elastic wave, for example, electromagnetic wave or hydrodynamic flow of liquid, is introduced to this zone.
