FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method of transmitting information waves in a marine environment involves making a parametric radiating antenna, emitting pumping waves into the environment with simultaneous transmission of information waves, with possibility of interaction thereof and reception of signals generated during interaction of pumping waves and information waves, followed by restoration of the original information. On the propagation path of the radiated low-frequency pumping signal, preferably in the far zone of the radiator, a spatial nonlinear region is formed, which is irradiated with biharmonic signals with audio frequency close to the pumping signal, and waves of a different physical nature, e.g., electromagnetic or hydrodynamic perturbations, which are subjected to frequency-time conversion in accordance with characteristics of the transmitted information, are transmitted into said region.
EFFECT: high efficiency of underwater communication, longer range of transmitting information and broader technical characteristics thereof.
