FIELD: sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: second- crystallization massecuite is boiled out until content of sugar crystals 180- 200 mcm in size achieves 20-30%. 40-50% of this massecuite is further used as crystal base for boiling out of the first-crystallization massecuite. Prior to loading this crystal base into vacuum apparatus, its temperature is set to 72-74 C and crystal base is combined with syrup-melt liquor mixture at ratio 1:(0.1-0.5). EFFECT: increased sugar production due to greater exhaustion of molasses and improved quality of produce.
