FIELD: sugar production. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to production of granulated sugar from raw cane- sugar. Process involves boiling of I, II, III , and IV-crystallization strikes. III-crystallization strike is boiled down to 89.0-90.0% solids and divided into two parts. One part is kept in vacuum apparatus in amount exceeding volume of vapor chamber. The second one is withdrawn from vacuum apparatus and centrifuged to give sugar III and runoff. IV-Crystallization strike is boiled in the same vacuum apparatus and part of strike remaining therein is used as crystalline base for strike IV. The latter is boiled down to 90.0-91.0% solids. Prior to be withdrawn from vacuum apparatus into crystallizer unit, IV-crystallization strike is diluted to 88.0-89.0% concentration. EFFECT: increased yield of sugar due to deep exhaustion of intercrystal solution of strike IY.
