METHOD OF EVALUATION OF PERIOD BETWEEN CLEANINGS WELLS COMPLICATED WITH ASPHALT-RESIN-PARAFFIN ACCUMULATIONS Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: gas and oil producing industry; applicable in forecast evaluation of value of period between cleanings of wells based on one control criterion. SUBSTANCE: control criterion is used in form of refractive index of pumped oil. For which purpose, relationship between refractive index of pumped oil and critical quantity of pumped oil for wells of same object is constructed. Using this relationship, total quantity of pumped oil is determined. With consideration for water cutting of oil, total quantity of pumped fluid is calculated. With consideration of well operating conditions, time is calculated for which this quantity of fluid may be pumped through well. Construction of relationship between refractive index of pumped oil and critical quantity of pumped oil is periodically repeated.
