FIELD: mining art, applicable in mining of ore and non-metallic mineral resources with the use of drilling and blasting operations. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in level borehole rock-breaking, multi-row lay-out of boreholes and selection of boreholes of the rock mass to be blasted in the points of intersection of diagonals of tetragons formed by "pots" from boreholes of the overlying level that are adjacent in the row and adjacent "pots" of the adjacent row. The invention is featured by a non-spontaneous selection of the lay-out of boreholes of the level to be blasted, but by their lay-out in the zone that was less of all subjected to the effect of blast of charges in the boreholes of the overlying level. EFFECT: reduced outcrop of outsize from the upper part of the rock mass of the level being mined. 2 dwg
