FIELD: mining industry, applicable in mining of ore mineral resources and non-metallic mineral resources with the use of drilling and blasting operations. SUBSTANCE: method consists in drilling of a hole, placement of an explosive charge in it, stemming of charge into the hole and blasting of the charge with the aid of the detonating cord laid in a zigzag or spiral-like manner. The invention is featured by installation of an additional plug of material that is more dense than the stemming in the stemming above the bending of the detonating cord. Due to inertia "sagging" of the plug in the stemming, the seismic waves in the rock mass squeeze the hole above the plug. As a result, the plug gets jammed in the hole, which enhances the reliability of locking of gaseous explosion products in the hole and prolongs their action on the rock. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency or rock destruction. 1 dwg
