FIELD: oil refining, petrochemical and food industry branches. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes reservoir, temperature pickup, n number of hydrostatic pressure pickups arranged in different levels, display unit, measuring pipe arranged inside reservoir, pickup for indicating water presence in sedimentation zone of reservoir, unit for automatic correction of calculation results and zero drift of hydrostatic pressure pickups. Pickups indicating level and pickup indicating water presence are arranged in measuring pipe and their inputs are connected with medium to be controlled by means of ducts; their outputs are connected with inputs of device for automatic correction of calculation results and zero drift of hydrostatic pressure pickups. Output of said device is connected with display device. Measuring pipe may be vertically moved as its upper portion is mounted by means of end sealing and its lower portion - by means of ball journal.
