FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying laser radiation therapy combined with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory therapy. Applications are administering in rectal way using quartz scattering attachment to laser apparatus. Output radiation power is not greater than 20 mW at the light guide exit, wavelength is 0.63 mcm and modulation frequency is 100 Hz. The adenoma is additionally exposed to focused ultrasonic radiation using pulsating elastic wave oscillator unit having emitted frequency of 10.4 MHz and connected to the remote piezo-electric radiator of the central probe of lithotrite procedure head of LT-01-3 operating at carrying frequency of 3.5 MHz with eight fixed pulse succession frequencies equal to 1.25, 2.5, 5, 10, 20, 40, 80, 160 Hz. Reflected waves are received at 8 MHz frequency. The received signal quantization is carried out in the receiver at 2 MHz frequency and prostate adenoma image is shown on lithotrite echograph screen. Then, the benign prostate tumor is destroyed to the maximum possible extent without traumatic injuries caused to adjacent organs and tissues of patient organism. The ultrasonic action is applied in combination with reflex therapy by massaging acupuncture points with fingers or introducing short (to 3 cm long) needles leaving them in patient tissues for 35-40 min.
