VEHICLE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2158683 C1

FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed vehicle is made in form of three-dimensional body with load and passenger compartments, power plants and acceleration devices. Basic member of vehicle is air flow energy converter consisting of several envelopes with channels in between. Converter can have several turbines and generators to provide energy for vehicle propulsion unit drive. Serviceability of converter is based on use of rarefaction on its bottom face and energy of oncoming flow getting into inlet channels. Sharp increase of flow velocity on turbine is provided at the cost of corresponding decrease of enthalpy, i.e. heat component of full energy. For realization of support members, propulsion units, guides and other units designs developed for high speed railway, airships and aircraft are used. EFFECT: improved operating characteristics and enlarged sphere of application. 18 cl, 5 dwg
