FIELD: mechanical engineering; rotary engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed engine has rotors - pistons. At least three rotors-pistons are placed in one housing so that their axes of rotation, being projected onto plane of rotation, are transformed into points forming vertices of equilateral triangle with side equal to , with equation of rotor-piston projection onto plane of rotation being described by mathematical dependances where Rmax - maximum radius is set arbitrary. Rotors - pistons being rotated at equal angular speed, form closed spaces (working chambers) of variable volume between their surfaces, thus playing the part of cylinder in addition. EFFECT: increased service life of power unit, output and torque, reduced vibrations, cut down cost of production and service expenses. 8 dwg
