FIELD: fan construction; radial-flow fans. SUBSTANCE: fan has impeller fitted on shaft which is mounted in bearing placed in housing. Novelty is that fan is provided with safety device incorporating cone as well as front, guide, and working disks mounted on rotor shaft through bushing; guide and working disks are plate-shaped and mounted so that annular suction duct is formed; working disk carries uniformly arranged blades and has holes; cone is secured to bearing housing and forms, together with working and front disks, pressure chamber communicating with atmosphere through annular slit formed by cone and working disk. EFFECT: improved explosion safety and operating reliability of fan. 13 cl, 3 dwg
