FIELD: methods of search for promising oil and gas deposits with use of neurocomputer system for processing of seismic prospecting data. SUBSTANCE: method includes seismic profiling by method of common depth point, obtaining of time sections, selection of instruction sample within analyzed window over entire image of seismic trace section of time sections with subsequent use of instruction sample in multilayer neuron systems and in map construction. In this case, introduced on various sections of researched area into instruction sample are additional image of tectonic-facies zones in form of seismically well-defined geological bodies, for instance, reefogenic formations of deep faults and troughs. EFFECT: higher accuracy of determination of probabilistic location of promising oil and gas objects. 4 dwg
