FIELD: equipment for transmission and reception of several TV programs. SUBSTANCE: system for transmission of audio and video signal packets includes main directory and special directory. Main directory includes schedule information for period of several hours, while special directory includes program information for period of next 30 days. Main directory is broadcasted as service constituent at each carrier or broadcast frequency in order to display it independently from carrier frequency which is currently used by TV set. Special directory is broadcasted at only one carrier frequency in order to decrease allocation of system frequency band. Respective device which implements said method has group of broadcasting channels, group of packet program generators, program distributor for generation of list of packet programs, including identifiers of programs and their time, and device for multiplexing special directory to programs of one channel.
