FIELD: medicine, namely sanitation and hygiene. SUBSTANCE: trainer is used for training of respiratory system. Trainer has mouthpiece, hollow body with cylindrical part, valve positioned in cavity of body and interacting with stop which limits valve movement, inhalation and exhalation channels, as well as throttle with adjusting device. Valve is made as cup mounted in body for reciprocation and facing mouthpiece with its open end. Through throttling channel is made in side wall. Channel is shaped as radial slot which allow valve to operate as throttle simultaneously. External surface of cup and corresponding internal surface of body cavity interacting with it represent surface of truncated cylinder cross-sectional plane of which is parallel to longitudinal axis of cylinder. Stop limiting valve movement is formed by circular projection located in lower part of body cavity. Throttle adjusting device is made as two bushings with radial slots mounted for angular turning on external surface of cylindrical part of body. Two auxiliary radial slots are provided in side wall of body. These slots form common through inhalation and exhalation channels along with slots of the above-indicated bushings and slot located in side wall of cup in its extreme positions. Trainer provides for independent adjustment of resistance to inhalation and exhalation within wide range. Trainer may be used for training people suffering from different diseases. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities. 5 dwg
