FIELD: electrical engineering; handling of ferromagnetic parts. SUBSTANCE: load-lifting electromagnet has magnetic circuit with inner and outer poles and funnel in center changing into cylindrical hole of inner pole, protective plate, filling compound and control coil with face on upper end from side of inner pole made of insulated wire. Coil in section has form of rectangle with face made to straight-line generatrix one end of which is in one horizontal plane with end of conical generatrix of funnel changing into beginning of cylindrical generatrix of inner pole central hole. f is depth, γ is angle of inclination of face straight-line generatrix, and β is angle of cone of funnel, all being chosen from equation where d is diameter of inner pole, s is thickness of magnetic circuit upper wall and d1 is diameter of inner pole cylindrical hole.
